Adidas Patterning

The goal behind this project was to create a hypothetical application of Adidas’ brand through youthful and fresh patterns for apparel. My surface patterns come to life on a hoodie, sports bra, fanny pack, and hang tags. My
personal favorite part of this project is… the fanny pack. It really transformed the project into my vision.
Target Audience:
This collection was created for a young (15-30), gender neutral, and diverse audience. This line appeals to buyers of athletic wear or casual clothing.
Process:
As with all my projects, I started with drawing and target audience research. Inspired by the idea of a collection, I used shoes, backpacks, socks, etc. as references to begin drawing shapes, vectorizing them, and adding color. I tested several mock-ups to represent variety and consistency in the collection of patterns.
