Spice House
Museum Branding, Printed Matter,
Social Media Design
The Spice House is a museum branding project that is all about spices. In this project, I envisioned a space to have fun and add life to your spice rack. Spices have always been a hot commodity but now the history gets overlooked. Our goal is to recount the past and appreciate what adds flavor to our food.
Target Audience:
This museum is for the chefs, bakers, and spice connoisseurs. Anyone who uses spices (hopefully anyone who makes food) can learn the origins of spices and add a little flavor to their day.
Process:
I started this project with creating a logo. I wanted to push the traditional logotype and create an abstract symbol that represented spices at a microscopic level. From that logo, I added images and textures to make a bold brand identity. The typography often follows the logo and is cohesive throughout the different deliverables.
